Abstract

ABSTRAK KARAKTERISASI DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE TRANSDUCERS DENGAN METODE BEDA KETINGGIAN AIR. Hasil pengukuran dalam suatu penelitian sangat mempengaruhi hasil penelitian itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya karakterisasi terhadap alat atau sensor sebelum dipergunakan. Karakterisasi Differential Pressure Tranducers (DPT) yang dipergunakan sebagai alat ukur tekanan antara out-let cooler dengan out-let heater pada untai FASSIP-01 sangat diperlukan. Tujuan karakterisasi ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat presisi dan akurasi DPT serta mendapatkan formulasi hubungan antara tekanan ukur dengan arus keluaran DPT. Karakterisasi dilakukan dengan memvariasikan tekanan pada kedua jalur masukan DPT berdasarkan beda ketinggian air. Selisih tekanan antara kedua jalur masukan diubah menjadi arus listrik 4-20 mA. Hasil karakterisasi menunjukan tingkat presisi 0,03 dan akurasi 99,9% dengan tingkat kesalahan dibawah 0,1%. Sementara itu fungsi arus keluaran terhadap tekanan ukur juga diperoleh untuk digunakan pada program LabVIEW . Kata kunci: FASSIP-01, tekanan, DPT, DAS-NI, karakterisasi ABSTRACT CHARACTERIZATION OF DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE TRANSDUCERS BY WATER LEVEL DIFFERENCES. Since measurement can affect results of research characterization of tools or cencors before they are used is necessary. Therefore characterization of a differential pressure tranducers (DPT) before it is used in FASSIP-01 to mesure pressure difference between coller outlet and heater outlet is essential. The purpose of this study is to measure the precision and the accuracy of this DPT measurement. In addition, a formulation to represent the relationship between measured DPT current output and pressure is also generated.The characterization is completed by varying pressures at the DPT two inputs, which based on water level differences.The pressure differences between the two inputs are converted into electric currents ranging from 4 mA to 20 mA. The results show that the precision and the accuracy of DPT are 0.03 and 99,9% with error level 0,1% respectively. Meanwhile a formulation representing the relationship between alectric current and pressure data also obtained for use on LabVIEW program.
