Abstract

EVALVASI PAPARAN RADIASI DIATAS DAN SEKITAR KOLAM BALAI OPERASI RSG-GAS. Nilai paparan radiasi diatas permukaan kolam pacta saat reaktor beroperasi daya tinggi menunjukkan sedikit perbedaan dengan laju dosis perkiraan. Untuk tujuan pengendalian daBpengaturan keselamatan radiasi maka perlu dilakLikanevaluasi terhadap nilai paparan radiasi ini. Evaluasi paparan radiasi gamma diatas daB sekitar kolam reaktor balai operasi RSG-GAS pada daya 15 MW telah dilakukan dengan cara mengamati data operasi dan data air primer, melakukan perhitungan dan pengukuran, kemudian membandingkan dengan nilai yang tertera dalam SAR-MPR 30 MW. Paparan gamma diatas peonukaan kolam dipertimbangkan berasal dari gamma langsung teras dan radionuklida yang terkandung dalam air kolam. Hasil perhitungan paparan gamma langsung yang berasal dari teras sudah sangat rendah mendekati nol atau tak terhitung, karena pactajarak 3,7 meter diatas permukaan teras laju dosis sudah mencapai -0,025 mR/jam. Nilai banding hasil ukur dan hasil hitting rerata dari paparan gamma yang berasal dari radionuklida yang terkandung dalam air kolam dari 10 titik pengukuran jarak 1 meter diataspermukaankolamadalah0,864 ::I:0,178. Hasil pengukuran dapat diterima karena rentang nilai banding adalah 0,686 - 1,042. Nilai rerata pengukuran, diperoleh sebe~ar 2,88 ::I: 0,949 mr/jam. Nilai ini dapat dipergunakan sebagai masukan dalam justificasi paparan yang diharapkan (expected dose) untuk Balai Operasi yang tercantum dalam SAR yaitu 0,75 mR/jam ::; iJ ::;2,5 dan nilai jangkauan laju dosis atau Permissible Dose adalah 2,5 mR/jam::; iJ ::; 125 mR/jam. Melalui pengukuran dan perhitungan ini dapat dinyatakan bahwa terjadi sedikit perbedaan nilai paparan radiasi diatas dan di sekitar pennukaan kolam RSG GAS dari nilai perkiraan atau expected dose yang tercantum dalam SAR RSG-GAS. ABSTRACT: EVALVAnON OF THE RADIAnON EXPOSURE ABOVE AND VICINITY OF REACTOR POOL. Value of the radiation exposure above and vicinity of reactor pool at RSG GAS at 15 MW during operation full power show that deviation with the valuees stated in SAR. For aim controlle and regulation radiation safety that we need carry out evaluation. Evaluation of the radiation exposure above and vicinity of reactor pool at RSG GAS at 15 MW was carried out by observing data on reactor operation and primary water, calculating and measuring, comparing them with the valuees stated in SAR MPR 30 MW. The Gamma exposure above the reactor pool results directly from the core and radionuclides contained in the pool water. Results of calculation introducing the operational parameter and change in pool water level during operation show that gamma exposure at pool surface directly coming out from the core in very low, nearly zero or uncounted because at the distance of 3.7 meter above the core surface, the dose rate reached -0.025 mR/hour. The compared average values between tile result of measurement and calculation of ganuna exposure contained in the pool water during reactor operation 10 at monitoring point at the distance of 1 meter above the pool surface are 0,864 ::I: 0,178. Result of average measurement can be received because range of the compared average values are 0,686 - 1,042 Result. of average measurement are 2,88::1: 0,949 mr/hour While this value can be used for input on thejustification of expected dose for classification working area for operation hall. The classification working area for operation hall in SAR MPR 30 MW is as follow: Permissible Dose, Expected Dose is 2.5 mR/horr::; iJ ::; 125 mR/hour, 0.75 mR/hour ::;iJ::; 2.5 mR/hour. Based on result of research, it can be concluded that the radiation exposure above and in the vinity of the pool surface of RSG GAS differs from the expected dose stated in SAR MPR 30 MW
