Abstract

ABSTRAK EVALUASI PARAMETER NEUTRON KASIP REAKTOR PWR AP1000. Laju perubahan neutron selama manuver batang kendali sangat ditentukan oleh parameter neutron kasip. Oleh karena itu evaluasi parameter neutron kasip untuk PLTN PWR Generasi-III+, seperti reaktor AP1000, perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keselamatan yang telah dilakukan desainer. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik parameter neutron kasip reaktor AP1000 untuk kondisi cold zero power (dengan dan tanpa boron) dan hot zero power (dengan dan tanpa boron). Perhitungan parameter neutron kasip dilakukan dengan paket program metode difusi neutron 3- dimensi BATAN-3DIFF untuk 2, 4 dan 10 kelompok tenaga neutron. Perhitungan sel untuk generasi konstanta difusi dilakukan dengan paket program SRAC2006. Data neutron kasip dari Keepin, Tuttle dan Brady-England dipakai dalam penelitian ini. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan harga fraksi neutron kasip efektif dengan data Brady-England memberikan hasil yang paling dekat dengan nilai desain dengan perbedaan 1,48%. Sedangkan untuk parameter umur hidup neutron rerata, perbedaan dengan desain 3,50%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa reaktor AP1000 memiliki kestabilan yang relatif konstan meskipun konsentrasi boron dan temperatur berubah. Kata kunci: PWR, fraksi neutron kasip efektif, umur hidup neutron rerata, BATAN-3DIFF, SRAC2006 ABSTRACT THE EVALUATION OF DELAY NEUTRON PARAMETERS IN THE AP1000 PWR REACTOR. The rate of change of the neutron population during control rods maneuver is determined by the delayed neutron. Therefore, the evaluation delayed neutron parameters for the PWR Generation-III+ reactor, such as the AP1000 reactor, should be carried out to evaluate the safety improvement has been prepared by designer. The purpose of this study to determine the characteristic of the delayed neutron parameters for the AP1000 reactor in the cold zero power condition (with and without boron) and the hot zero power (with and without boron). The delayed neutron parameters calculation were carried out by using the 3-dimensional neutron diffusion method code, BATAN-3DIFF, for 2, 4 and 10 neutron energy groups. The cell calculations for generating the neutron diffusion group constants were carried out by using the SRAC2006 code. The delayed neutron data from Keepin, Tuttle and Brady-England were used in this study. The calculation results show that the effective delayed neutron fraction using Brady-England data is very close to the design value with a difference of 1.48%. Then, the calculated average neutron life time has a difference of 3.50% compared to design value. The results showed that the AP1000 reactor has a constant relative stability, although the boron concentration and temperature are changed.
