Abstract

EVALUASI UNJUK KERJA SWITCHGEAR PADA SISTEM KELISTRIKAN RSG-GAS. Switchgear merupakan peralatan hubung yang berfungsi memutuskan atau menghubungkan sumber catu daya utama PLN dengan beban sistem distribusi gedung RSG-GAS. Switchgear ini dilengkapi dengan peralatan Pemutus Tenaga (PMT) dan Pemisah (PMS) yang bertujuan mengisolasi, mengontrol dan memproteksi peralatan dan sistem kelistrikan RSG-GAS. Metoda evaluasi yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara mengamati kondisi tegangan nominal, arus nominal, unjuk kerja switchgear baik dalam kondisi normal, perawatan maupun kondisi gangguan serta menghitung perubahan temperatur akibat busur api listrik. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, arus hubung singkat yang dibangkitkan rata-rata sebesar 16 kA dalam waktu 3 detik dapat dipadamkan oleh PMT dengan medium semburan gas SF6, dimana gas SF6 ini mempunyai sifat isolasi dan pendingin yang baik. Hasil evaluasi unjuk kerja yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa switchgear pada sisitem kelistrikan RSG-GAS setelah dilakukan refungsionalisasi berfungsi baik. ABSTRACT EVALUATION OF SWITCHGEAR PERFORMANCE FOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AT RSG-GAS. Switchgear is an electrical connector equipment and to function as disconnector and connector of PLN electric supply to the electrical distribution system in the RSG-GAS building. It is equipment with circuit breaker (PMT) and disconnecting switch (PMS), which aim to isolate, control and protect the electrical system and equipments of RSG-GAS. The evaluation methods of switchgear performance were done by monitoring of nominal voltage conditions, nominal currents and calculate the effect of temperature changes due to the electric arc. These activities were done in the normal and maintenance as well as interrupted According to the calculation, the average current generated by short circuit was 16 kA and in the 3 seconds it can be switched off by PMT with SF6 gas sprayed medium. This gas has high isolation and cooling properties. The result of evaluations shows that the switchgear performance for electrical system at RSG-GAS has a good function as specified.
