Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGKAJIAN DISAIN SISTEM KESELAMATAN REAKTOR SMART.Telah dilakukan pengkajian disain sistem keselamatan reaktor SMART. Kajian disain keselamatan ini dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan disain reaktor SMART dengan standar IAEA “Safety of Nuclear Power Plants: Design”, dan dengan disain jenis reaktor PWR, AP600. Kajian disain dilakukan terhadap ketersediaanya sistem keselamatan, unjuk kerja sistem keselamatan danfrequensi kerusakan teras.Berdasarkan kajian yang telah dilakukan didapat hasil-hasil sebagai berikut: disain reaktor SMART telah memenuhi prinsip pertahanan berlapis seperti yang disarankan dalam petunjuk pendisainan reaktor nuklir yaitu dengan melengkapi sistim keselamatannya untuk pencegahan dan mitigasi kecelakaan, demikian juga halnya dengan AP600. Unjuk kerja disain sistim keselamatan SMART berfungsi seperti yang diharapkan. Reaktor SMART memenuhi kriteria keselamatan, sebagai contoh: minimum DNBR > 1.41, tekanan presurizer < 18.7 Mpa, tidak terjadinya kekritisan ulang serta tidak terjadinya teras yang tidak tergenangi untuk berbagai skenario kecelakaan yang telah dianalisis. Frequenksi kerusakan teras(Core Damage Frequency- CDF) dengan awal kejadian pada daya operasi untuk SMART adalah 8.56 x10-7 /ry sedangkan untuk AP600 adalah 3.3 x 10– 7/ry. Baik disain SMART maupun disain AP600 mendemontrasikan bahwa mereka mempunyai CDF yang lebih kecil atau samadengan 10-5 kejadian per reaktor tahun. ABSTRACT STUDY OF SMART REACTOR SAFETY SYSTEM DESIGN. Study of SMART reactor safety system design has been done. This study is conducted by comparing to design reactor of SMART with standard IAEA " Safety Of NuclearPower Plants: Design", and design of reactor type of PWR, AP600. Study of design conducted to examine the existence of safety system, safety system performance and core damage frequency. Based on the study which have been done got the following pickings: SMART reactor design have fulfilled principle of defence in depth such as those which suggested in the guide of designing of nuclear reactor that is consist of safety systems for accident prevention and mitigation and so do the things of by AP600. Performance of safety system design of SMART is such as those, which expected. SMART reactor fulfills safety criterion, for example that is minimum DNBR > 1.41, pressure presurizer < 18.7 Mpa, recriticality do not occur and also core is keep immerse in water for various scenario of accident which have been analysed. Core damage frequency-CDF with early occurence at normal power for SMART is 8.56 x10-7 / ry while for AP600 is 3.3 x 10- 7/ry. Both SMART design and AP600 design show that they have smaller CDF equal to 10-5 occurence per reactor-year.
